W/2016/2017

With Winter just around the corner and it was about time that I published a trend forecast about the upcoming season. I must say, that for the first time I am thrilled with the new trends. I decided to split the trend post into two parts: the general season trends and the winning pieces. The last weeks I had been searching over internet looking on magazines and these are the final 5 trends that made the cut:

1. Velvet

Velvet is the biggest fabric trend of this season and I have to say that I am pretty exited to try it out. what is the best part of it? it is everywhere! We have seen velvet trousers, velvet dresses, velvet suits, velvet bags even velvet sneakers.

2.PVC

When it comes to waterproof fashion, what's better than slick vinyl? The latest fabric trend to emerge is on the opposite end of the spectrum on the comfort meter, but it makes up for it in cool factor when strategically mixed into an outfit. Want to see the trend in action?

3.pink

Pink is the color of this winter. We have seen it on fashion weeks and every it girl has nailed it!

4.Military

You’ve seen loved and heard it before and its back. From streamlined sheepskin coats to quilted parkas, luxurious outerwear is the focus – mix with chic leather separates, tonal knits in burgundy and navy, and vertiginous heels.

5. Hard vs soft

This tend is all about mixing materials and textures that don't normally belong together. An affordable idea to break into this trend is layering hard bracelets or leather crop tops over blouses.

So go on try them out, see if they actually work with your style and if you can incorporate them in your everyday life but above all ... stay chic
